What is GEOFLAM® SF?
GEOFLAM® SF is a mineral wool–based fire-resistant spray coating designed for the passive fire protection of sheet-steel ventilation and smoke extraction ducts, whether horizontal or vertical, circular or rectangular.
Thanks to its pneumatic water-assisted spray application, GEOFLAM® SF provides continuous fire protection on metal ductwork. Depending on the application, it delivers fire resistance performance of up to 120 minutes.
Product application
GEOFLAM® SF is applied using a wet-spray process, directly onto the surface requiring protection, with no specific prior surface preparation. Installation is carried out using a mineral wool spraying machine on sound, dry substrates protected from water ingress.
This application method fully complies with the requirements of DTU 27.1, ensuring professional and reliable installation. For optimum performance, GEOFLAM® SF should be applied at temperatures between +5°C and +45°C.
