GEOFLAM® DC half-shells
GEOFLAM® DC half-shells are pre-moulded elements used in the protection of metal columns for passive fire protection and are tested in accordance with EN 13381-4.
GEOFLAM® DC half-shells with a thickness of 25 mm to 45 mm and variable dimensions, are available for outer diameters from 200 to 500 mm. These elements can be used to protect metal columns with a fire resistance rating of up to 3 hours (R15 to R180). GEOFLAM® DC half-shells are assembled by gluing and “polochonnage”*.
*Polochonnage: technique which consists of using GEOCOL® glue, sisal fibre and GEOPLÂTRE® N plaster to assemble the elements.
